Main Theme
"Reflecting on Modern Education: Challenges and Innovations in Student Learning"
Finalists are expected to deliver a speech that is relevant, reflective, original, and connected to current educational issues.
Purpose of the Final Round
The final round is designed to assess finalists' ability across five key dimensions of public speaking and critical thought.

Speech Topic Requirement
For the final round, each finalist must create a speech topic based on the main theme: Reflecting on Modern Education: Challenges and Innovations in Student Learning. Choose one subtheme and develop it into a specific, focused speech title.

How AI can support learning without replacing student effort.
Facilities
The impact of learning facilities on student motivation.
Mental Health
Why mental health support matters in modern education.
Digital Distraction
How online classes challenge students' focus and discipline.
Speech Manuscript Format
Finalists are required to write their speech manuscript using the official template provided by the committee. The template must be followed to make the review and technical preparation easier for the committee and judges.

Manuscript & Property Submission Deadline
Finalists must pay close attention to two important deadlines. Documents submitted after the deadline may affect the technical preparation process.

Submit earlier so the committee can verify technical feasibility of your requested property, especially audiovisual items.

Submit using the official template provided by the committee. Late submissions may affect technical preparation.
Property Use Regulation
Finalists are allowed to use property during the final performance, but the use of property must be clearly explained in the manuscript template. Please read the following rules carefully.

Finalists who use property must describe it clearly in the manuscript template.

Property confirmation must be submitted no later than 17 June 2026, 12.00 WIB.
Audiovisual Facilitated by Committee
The committee only facilitates audiovisual property such as slides, audio, video, or other screen-based media.
Non-AV Property: Finalist's Responsibility
Properties outside audiovisual forms are the responsibility of each finalist.
Final Round Performance Rules
Each finalist must pay attention to the following rules to ensure a fair, respectful, and well-organised final round.
🗣 Language
Speech must be delivered entirely in English.
🎯 Relevance
Speech must be relevant to the main theme and selected subtheme.
👤 Individual
Speech must be delivered individually — no group performances.
📋 Order
Finalists must follow the performance order determined by the committee.
Punctuality
Finalists must attend the final round on time.
🤝 Respect
Speech must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
👔 Attire
Finalists are expected to wear neat and polite attire.
📣 Instructions
Finalists must follow instructions from the committee, MC, timekeeper, and judges.
Speech Duration & Timer System
The speech duration is 3 minutes. The timekeeper will use timer cards as visual reminders throughout your performance. Manage your speech carefully so that the opening, main points, and closing can all be delivered within the given time.

Deliver your final message and closing line. Keep it concise and impactful.

Judging Aspects
The judges will assess finalists based on seven main aspects. Each aspect reflects a key dimension of effective public speaking and academic communication.

The final round will determine winners across two categories: Main Winners and Special Awards. Each category recognises a different dimension of excellence in speech performance.

Attend the official technical meeting to receive all competition rules, guidelines, and important information from the committee.
Coaching Clinic
Join coaching clinic sessions with experts and lecturers to refine your speech, delivery, and overall performance.
Final Preparation
Complete your manuscript, confirm your property, and receive final information updates from the committee before the big day.

Finalist Obligations
All finalists are required to fulfil the following obligations to ensure smooth participation in the final round. Failure to comply may affect your eligibility or performance slot.

Presence at the technical meeting is mandatory to receive all competition guidelines.

Follow the official template for manuscript writing as provided by the committee.

Attend Coaching Clinic
